If you’re searching for something to do on Halloween night, Downtown Chicago has some great options.

Navy Pier

First up, head to Navy Pier for the last showing of the Haunted Maze. The event includes a carnival like you’ve never experienced before.

The final day of the event just happens to be Halloween night. From 5pm-8pm take your own self-guided tour, winding your way through the fun.

Halloween parade

A parade is definitely fun for the kids, but this parade is just as fun for the grownups. The Northalsted Halloween Parade kicks off at 7:30pm on Halloween night.

Don’t be fooled by the title, this parade is actually part flash mob, part giant party. Expect to watch the Chicago Thriller flash mob’s take on Michael Jackson, a costume contest and plenty of drink and food specials from nearby bars and restaurants.

Haunted River Cruise

The night’s also your chance to check out a haunted river cruise. Hop aboard a Seadog River Tour for a spin on the spooky vessel.

Tour guides promise to tell some haunting tales about the city as you glide along the Chicago River.
