There's no doubt that planning and executing a full Thanksgiving dinner can be a stressful endeavor, regardless how large or small your family may be. But with Thanksgiving just over a week away, those who will be hosting friends and family for this year's holiday should probably start thinking about dinner plans sooner rather than later.

But if you're like the millions of Americans who are over-worked, stressed out, or simply just don't feel like making a full Thanksgiving meal yourself, there's lots of different alternatives to consider, especially here in Chicago. Thanksgiving take-out seems to be a growing trend all over the United States, as it can often be cheaper and save those who host a Thanksgiving event a whole lot of time when you combine meal preparation and clean-up. And who want to wash all those pots and pans after you've already eaten anyway?

So, if laboring in the kitchen all day doesn't sound like the ideal way to spend a holiday, here's a look at some of the best Chicago-area restaurants that are offering great deals on Thanksgiving take-out specials.
