Chicago's largest beer Festival is once again coming to soldier Field this weekend, kicking off a month full of awesome weekend outdoor events and festivals of all kinds. What started in 2013 as a simple and fun way to taste brews from a number of local and regional breweries has grown substantially over the last couple years, and this year, over 200 unique brews will be available from some of the country’s best craft beer makers.
For those who haven’t yet experienced Chicago’s American Beer Classic, several different sessions will be available, with each individual session having limited capacity. During the experience, festival goers who opt for a general admission ticket will receive 48 two-ounce samples, an American Beer Classic sampling cup, and access to Soldier Field where the event will take place.
If you’re a true beer enthusiasts, additional vouchers will also be available for 8 more two-ounce samples, which can be purchased for only $2. In addition, tours for historic Solider Field will also be available for purchase, making for not only a unique experience for local beer lovers, but Chicago sports fans as well.
VIP tickets to this year’s American Beer Festival include the VIP sampling plan of 60 two-ounce samples, a 30 minute private tasting session before the festival opens, complimentary tours of the field, and priority access to all the different educational session.
Right now, General Admission tickets are on sale for $65, while VIP tickets cost $85. Tickets can be purchase on the American Beer Classic website here.
