The Nutcracker - The House Theatre, 1543 W. Division

If you’ve never made a trip over to The House Theatre in Wicker Park, it’s truly one of Chicago’s best kept secrets. Based on the story by E.T.A. Hoffmann, The Nutcracker is a fun show for onlookers of all ages, and it’s cheap! We highly recommend checking this one out if you haven’t already.
A Charlie Brown Christmas - Broadway Playhouse, 175 E. Chestnut

Of coursed based on the one-and-only cartoon, A Charlie Brown Christmas brings the beloved Peanuts characters to life, making it one of the more fun shows to catch in town during the holidays.
