Where to Rent Luxury in the Loop This Fall

Although the spring and summer is when Chicago's' robust apartment market really comes alive, fall can also be a great time to find a good deal, especially in the heat of downtown. Here's a closer look at where to rent in the Loop this month and beyond...

223 W. Lake

The boutique development of 223 W Lake offers up plenty of luxurious features and finishes. The renovated lofts of this building include soaring ceilings and fantastic city views, along with some exposed brick accents and private elevator entry.

130 N. Garland

Also called The Heritage at Millennium Park, 130 N Garland is the Loop’s tallest residential building, with easy and secure access to area shops and public transportation. The full-amenity building also features its own indoor swimming pool, a dog walk, a sundeck and a rooftop terrace.

8 E. Randolph

Joffrey Tower, sitting at 8 E Randolph Street, currently offers up one- and two-bedroom rentals in a prime setting. The building also features some on-site garage parking, an exercise room and extra storage space.

6 N. Michigan

Right across from Millennium Park, the units of 6 N Michigan Avenue provide for additional options of luxury in the Loop. Current rentals range from one- to four-bedrooms, along with on-site garage parking, an exercise room, a sundeck and a pet-friendly environment.

Condé Nast Traveler Readers Once Again Rank Chicago the Country's Best Big City

As most of us who already live here know, Chicago is a great place to call home. But if you're considering a move to the Windy City from out of town, it’s certainly reassuring to know that readers of Condé Nast Traveler magazine have once again voted Chicago to be the best big city in the country.Citing our city’s spectacular architecture, world-class museums, highly-touted restaurants, and a flourishing brewing scene as to why Chicago seems to be so beloved by its visitors, the travel magazine had this to say about Chicago specifically:

Second City? Not by our count. Chicago is world-class in so many categories—magnificent architecture, stunning museums, brilliant chefs, a massive brewing scene, and so much to do that you’ll never see it all. Scratch the surface in the Loop and on the Gold Coast, then go deeper into the city’s 77 neighborhoods, where you’ll find cutting-edge restaurants (like Parachute), chilled out corner bars (Sportsman’s Club), and some of the most pleasant people you’ll find anywhere. It’s no wonder Chicago tops this list again.

Other highly-ranked cities include San Francisco, New Orleans, Denver, Boston, and New York City. CNT also ranked small cities throughout the country as well, and Charleston, Santa Fe, and Savannah, Georgia were honored with being named the Top 3. For a complete list, check out the Condé Nast Traveler 2018 Readers’ Choice Awards.
