COMMERCIAL: PepsiCo the Latest to Sign at Old Post Office Redevelopment

To accommodate growing needs of employees, PepsiCo will be relocating its Chicago offices. The new location will be 433 W. Van Buren St and will be the home of their; Sports and Juice portfolios, Quaker Foods, and Pepsi's North America Central Division.

The move will “meet the growing needs of current and future talent by creating a more agile and productive working environment for employees,” according to to a representative of the company.

The beverage giant signed an 8 year lease for a space measuring 192K sq. ft and are planning to move around the end of next year. PepsiCo with their 1300 employees will be the 3rd largest tenant within the building.

The new offices are expected to be a state-of-the-art workspace which will increase employee efficiency and help the company's variety brands grow faster. The offices will have an open-floor concept aided to create collaboration and growth. Renderings of the new space show; a juice bar, a Gatorade-themed collaboration area, and of course...Pepsi Logos spread throughout the entire modern workspace.

The company has stated that more initiatives will be announced that further demonstrate the its commitment to bring value to the city of Chicago.

Regarding the move, Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot stated, “PepsiCo’s move to the beautiful, historic Old Main Post Office solidifies its strategic position throughout the region, enabling it to grow into new areas, create new jobs, expand opportunity and take our partnership to even greater heights, while furthering Chicago's position as a global hub for the food and beverage industry,”
