Fun at the Randolph Street Market - West Loop

Posted on Tuesday, July 21st, 2015 at 12:25pm.

The gentrification of Chicago's West Loop is quickly gaining momentum as large tech companies like Google and Twitter take up residence in the area. For those wanting to know and see what the hype is about, this weekend is the perfect moment.

Experience the West Loop while taking part in local and international shopping at the European-styled Randolph Street Market Festival. The annual festival is open every Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. through the Summer and early Fall at 1310 W. Washington Street. This weekend, the Randolph Street Market is featuring the Chicago Antique Market; hailed as one of the top 3 urban-antique markets in the nation by Travel & Leisure.

More than 250 vendors ranging from food, clothing and hand-made furniture will be setting up shop at the festival, guaranteeing that there is something for everyone to find at the Chicago Antiques Market. Don't forget to bring the kids and dogs (the dogs have to be on a leash!), this festival is for everyone wanting to enjoy Chicago and the up-and-coming West Loop lifestyle. Tickets are $8-$10 online and at the door respectively.
