2015 looks to be an exciting year for the hotel industry, but along with that, a number of new restaurants are also expected to make their debut here in downtown Chicago, with several opening up inside a few of these highly-anticipated new lodging spaces.
Among some of the hot new restaurants and bars expected to hit the Chicago dining scene over the next several months is The Broken Shaker—a stylish new cocktail bar that will be housed inside the Freehand at 19 E. Ohio Street in River North.
Having got its start as a cocktail pop-up down in Miami, The Broken Shaker is now considered a permanent fixture down in South Florida, and now, Chicago will be welcoming that same unique style and vibe to one of the trendiest neighborhoods in the city.
The craft cocktail scene has really blown up around Chicago in recent months, with the likes of The Aviary, The Violet Hour, Three Dots and a Dash, Scofflaw, Sportsman’s Club, and Sable all having opened their doors over the last two or three years.
Drinks and cocktails at The Broken Shaker will be rotating all throughout the year, while using local ingredients and purveyors to make the experience as authentic as it gets for each one of its guests. Beer, wine, and small plates will also be served, but as for anymore specific details, we’ll probably just have to wait and see on this one.
