It’s only been open a few months, but already Young American is creating quite a stir in Logan Square. This hip new progressive bar and restaurant recently opened its doors along Kedzie Avenue, but it’s far from ordinary.
If you want something truly unique, go for one of the bar’s CBD-infused cocktails. Customers can also choose to have CBD powder added into one of the bar’s spirt-free drinks. There’s even a drink on the menu called “Fort Nite”, but it has nothing to do with the popular video game.
Unlike the set-up in traditional bars and restaurants, at Young American it’s common for kitchen workers and servers to occasionally switch roles, then divvy up the tips at the end of the night. The location also includes space for a DJ and to dance.
Young American is open every day of the week, with extended hours well into the evening.
