ShamROCK GREENing

As a clever way to promote Chicago being the “greenest” city in the world, ShamROCK Chicago was launched back in 2012 in order highlight and celebrate the strong Irish influence that’s felt all over the city, especially on a day like today. Part of the ShamROCK Greening event is to illuminate some of downtown’s most iconic buildings and monuments in GREEN lighting, so get out there and take your own photos and videos of all the “green” that’s on display through St. Patrick’s Day. There will also be a video celebration of all the GREENing and individual participants on the Block 37 building every night from March 13th through the 17th from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m.
