Weber Grill Introduces 6 New Burger-Beer

Despite the other day’s unfortunate snow shower, we’ve still reached that time of year when we start to pull off the covers to our grills, trade in those empty tanks of kerosene for full ones, and begin the process of getting back into full-fledge grill-mode.

Nothing quite says summer like a delicious barbeque and whether it’s chicken, steak, or just a plain old hot dog, there’s just something special about being able to cook outdoors while enjoying the nice warm sunshine. Unfortunately for many Chicago condo owners however, access to a grill, or any private outdoor space for that matter, isn’t quite as easy to come by as it is for single-family home owners across the city; and if this sounds like an all-to-familiar problem you face each and every summer, Weber Grill restaurants may just have the perfect solution for you this year—especially if you have a weak spot for a nice juicy burger.

In recognition of National Burger Month in May, Weber Grill is launching 6 new burgers, all inspired by Weber Grill’s new cookbook The Big Book of Burgers, and in an effort to put a little spin on your average American hamburger, at least two quality meats will be used in each of these new burger creations, which range from bison or Italian sausage to ground chicken or bacon. The burgers will also be complimented with some of the finest beers around and each will be served with your choice of fries, kettle chips, or coleslaw.

Now, to learn more about each of the 6 burgers, take a look at the below details:

“The Ranger”
Available May 1-15
Price: $14

A blend of bison and Certified Angus Beef, The Ranger is covered with sour cherry BBQ sauce and topped with smoked onions and cheddar cheese. This one is paired with the Eliot Ness AmberAle from Great Lakes Brewery.

“Thai Pork Burger”
Available May 1-15
Price: $12

A combination of ground pork and Certified Angus beef, this mouth-watering burger also offers Thai seasonings and is served on lettuce cups. The paired brew? Omnnegong Hennepin, of course!

“Italian Sausage Burger”
Available May 1-15
Price: $12

As expected, the Italian Sausage burger combines Italian sausage and Certified Angus beef, and is loaded with mozzarella cheese while topped with grilled peppers. Paired beer for this one: Goose Island Green Line

“Smoked Meatloaf Burger”
Available May 16-31
Price: $12

Perhaps one of our favorites, the Smoked Meatloaf Burger features grilled meatloaf and hickory served with Weber steak sauce and caramelized onions. YUM! The Deschutes Obsidian Stout is the paired beer for this mouthwatering sensation!

“Smoked Chicken Burger”
Available May 16-31
Price: $12

Prefer something other than beef? Here ya go! This one is a blend of ground chicken and bacon, while topped with blue cheese and pickles. The beer for this one is the Six Point Resin Double IPA.

"Ballpark Kettle Burger"
Available May 16-31
Price: $10

If this doesn’t scream summer, we don’t know what does. A blend of polish sausage and Certified Angus Beef, enjoy this one topped with cheddar cheese and whole grain mustard. The paired beer for the Ballpark Kettle Burger is the Lagunitas, IPA; how can you go wrong?
