The Viagra Triangle is a district in Chicago’s Gold Coast neighborhood that is known for being one of the liveliest nightlife scenes in town. But along with all the upscale bars and clubs you'll find here, this particular part of the Gold Coast also features an amazing collection of world-class restaurants, boutique shopping, trendy cafes and coffee shops, several small urban parks, and easy access to the lakefront, making it a very desirable place to call home as well. 4 E. Elm 

If newer construction near the Viagra Triangle seems like the perfect combo, look no further than 4 E. Elm. Located on the corner of State and Elm Street, you'll be just steps away from all the Viagra Triangle hotspots, as well as nearby Division Street as well. You'll find the building has 24 floors with 2 units per floor and 4,000 square feet of ground-level retail space. Each individual unit is between 3,100 and 3,500 square, which comes out to roughly $604 per square foot based on current market stats. Along with its great location, the building also offers residents some amazing amenities including a 24-hour doorman, fitness center, roof deck, rooftop pool, a spa/hot tub, theater room, clubroom, conference room, and a catered kitchen. Each unit also has access to its own terrace with beautiful city views, and in some cases even glimpses of the lake. 

1030 N. State 

Also located right around the corner from the Viagra Triangle, the condos at 1030 N. State, otherwise known as Newberry Plaza, are another great option to call home, especially if you're also looking for affordability in a Gold Coast condo. This building was built in 1971 and has 52 floors and 559 individual units. The condominium is in the heart of the Gold Coast neighborhood and within walking distance of popular boutiques, restaurants, and parks. 1030 N State condos also offer residents an assortment of amenities including a fitness center, a large outdoor pool with a sun deck, 24/7 front desk service, on-site management, storage units on each floor, on-site dry cleaners, and more. The Newberry Plaza condominiums have options for one, two, and three-bedroom condos that cost between $200,000 to over 1 million.

Waldorf Astoria Chicago

The Waldorf Astoria in Chicago’s Gold Coast Neighborhood features some of the most desired condos in the neighborhood. While the building stands 60 stories high, you'll only find 51 luxury condo residences inside thanks to the hotel occupying many of its lower floors. Floor plans at Waldorf Astoria range from one to three bedrooms, and all the units come with two terraces, 10 to 12-ft ceilings, hardwood floors, and a beautiful fireplace. 40 E. Cedar

Built in 1968, 40 E. Cedar is one of the older buildings on our list but still offers condo buyers highly desirable lifestyle. Almost perfectly situated between Oak Street Beach and the Viagra Triangle, we can't imagine living in a better Gold Coast location.  Additionally, the building also includes some truly excellent amenities like modern exercise facilities, 24-hour door service, storage units, a sun deck, and more. There is also an onsite laundry facility and an on-site manager and engineer. Look for the average price for a one-bedroom/bathroom condo at 40 E. Cedar to settle around $285,000. 

30 W. Oak

For luxury condo buyers looking for more of a boutique setting, 30 W. Oak condos are worth a look. Despite being 22 stories tall, you'll only find 48 individual units spread out throughout the building, helping provide more of a luxury feel. Inside, units are loaded with premium finishes, and although the building is a bit further away from the lakefront, the large terraces attached to most units at 30 W. Oak still offer glimpses of Lake Michigan. After becoming a condo owner, you'll enjoy a variety of amenities inside the building as well, including an indoor heated garage, 24-hour doorman service, extra storage spaces, and a fitness center. So if you're looking to combine luxury amenities and interiors with a dream location close to the Triangle, 30 W. Oak might just be the right choice.
