Luxury Apartment Tower, Guild, Breaks Ground in the Gold Coast

With so many high-profile developments currently under construction, you might have missed that the latest project coming through the pipeline in Chicago’s Gold Coast neighborhood has officially broken ground.

Located at 1210 State Parkway, the new 12-story tower called “Gild” will feature 91 luxury apartment residences and also additional retail space on the ground level once finished.
The building’s design is from CallisonRTKL and will feature a wide-range of floor plans and layouts that  include studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom units.

As with most new construction apartment buildings in downtown Chicago, Gild will also have a desirable mix of common building amenities, including two outdoor gathering areas, a private clubroom, a well-appointed fitness center, and a dog run with ample pet space.

Each apartment at Gild will also have a private balcony and of course a close proximity to the lakefront, all the shopping and dining along Michigan Avenue and Oak Street, and the open green spaces of nearby Lincoln Park.

Construction is expected to wrap-up around early 2022 and apartments for rent at Gild will price somewhere between $1,960 and $5,865.
