The Best Chicago Blackhawks Bars in Chicago

While it still feels like summer is just getting started in many ways, the fall and winter sports seasons are always right around the corner here in Chicago. Because if there's one thing we can always count on here in the Windy City it's that summers always go by way too fast!

In a sports-crazed city like Chicago, there's hardly a lack of fun and exciting sports bars worth checking out to watch all our local teams go to battle. Depending on where you live, some find Madison Street to be the hottest place to take in a Blackhawks game, and up on the north side, Wrigleyville is still king when it comes to a fun-filled sports bar experience. So if you're as big of a Blackhaws fan as we are and already can't wait for the upcoming season, here are just a few places we recommend catching a game.

WestEnd - 1326 W. Madison Chicago, IL

Located just down the street from the United Center, WestEnd allows fans to be as close to the action as possible, without actually being at the game of course. Featuring 5,000 square feet of space, a great menu, and 33 different TVs, there’s little chance of ever missing the action when catching a Blackhawks game at this Chicago bar.

The Fifty/50 - 2047 W. Division Chicago, IL

While Division Street may not be known for its sports bars, this high-quality Wicker Park spot offers a lively atmosphere, a unique layout, and some pretty dang good wings. In addition, Division Street also provides some fun and nearby options for after the game, which can of course make for an eventful and sometimes regrettable night.

Timothy O’Tooles - 622 N. Fairbanks Chicago, IL

As one of the original sports bars in downtown Chicago, Timothy O’Tooles provides for an authentic downtown Chicago experience and the atmosphere here is as wild as it gets for Bears, Bulls, and Blackhawks games. We suggest showing up early if this is your ideal spot to catch a Blackhawks game, or any Chicago-related game for that matter.

Houndstooth Saloon - 3369 N. Clark Chicago, IL

Acting as Wrigleyville’s only true country and western themed sports bar, Houndstooth Saloon is a wild and crazy time on any night of the week, especially on country nights. But when it comes to big Blackhawks games, this place is a downright blast. Good specials, good food, and good bartenders are what to expect when visiting this north side staple.
