But along with a premium location that’s both desirable and convenient, you’ll also find the building’s unique design is inspired by the masonry warehouses and steel bridges that helped shaped this part of Chicago’s early past, adding a little historical flair that perfectly blends new with old.

A Lincoln Park penthouse has sold for $9 million, representing the highest price paid for a Chicago condo since a unit on Walton Street in Chicago’s Gold Coast moved for just under $11 million back in March of 2019.

This particular unit occupies the 38th and 39th floors of Lincoln Park 2550, which was recently completed back in 2010, and the final sale price is just under 70% of the $13 million price tag it went to market with originally.

As noted by Crain’s, the sellers paid just over $6 million for the unfinished unit in 2015, although it’s not clear how much money was poured into finishing the space.
Unit highlights include 10’ high windows that overlook the park below, Lake Michigan, and much of Chicago’s skyline.
