Trump Tower’s Michelin-starred restaurant Sixteen has officially closed, although not all is lost for those of us who still love one of downtown’s most beautiful places to dine.

According to reports from multiple outlets, Terrace 16 is now open in place of Sixteen, which was of course one of the Windy City’s fanciest restaurants prior to its closing.

As noted by Eater Chicago, it’s not entirely clear why Sixteen shuttered, although one noticeable change between Sixteen and Terrace 16 is the pricing.

As of now, the most expensive item on the menu at Terrace 16 is the $52 bone-in ribeye, while other notables include the $26 cheeseburger, the $32 seared scallops, and quite the selection of rather affordable appetizers.

While it still feels like summer is just getting started in many ways, the fall and winter sports seasons are always right around the corner here in Chicago. Because if there's one thing we can always count on here in the Windy City it's that summers always go by way too fast!

In a sports-crazed city like Chicago, there's hardly a lack of fun and exciting sports bars worth checking out to watch all our local teams go to battle. Depending on where you live, some find Madison Street to be the hottest place to take in a Blackhawks game, and up on the north side, Wrigleyville is still king when it comes to a fun-filled sports bar experience. So if you're as big of a Blackhaws fan as we are and already can't wait for the upcoming season, here are just a few

Chicago is widely considered to be one of the most dog-friendly cities in the country. With over 20 individual off-leash dog parks in the town and dozens of high-rise condo buildings that not only allow dogs inside the building, but also feature a host of in-building amenities that specifically relate to pet owners, it's certainly hard to argue otherwise.

But if you're looking for a new condo or home for sale around the downtown area however, pet facilities are a bit more scarce and there aren't quite as many dog parks available to home owners on, say, the north and west sides of town. So if you're trying to balance a great downtown Chicago location with easy access to a downtown dog park as well, here's a closer look at where you may want to begin

When it comes to pizza, Chicago is best known for its distinctive deep dish style pies with 3-inch deep crust, a thick layer of toppings piled in the middle, and heavy tomato sauce acting as the finishing layer. So, if you take deep dish style pizza out of the equation, what other mouth-watering options are available in town? One of our favorite alternatives to deep dish pizza is classic and authentic Neapolitan pizza, which is typically prepared using fresh tomatoes,

Chicago Hotel RestaurantsWhat makes a hotel in Chicago special? Is it the interior design of the rooms, the hotel building’s architecture or the striking décor seen all throughout the lobby and hotel common areas? Well, it finally happened—a fully automated restaurant has now officially made its debut in downtown Chicago, and it happens to be located right here in the Gold Coast.

Located at 1 W. Division, the new Wow Bao restaurant takes orders from either an app or an in-store kiosk, and once its ready for pick-up, it will be placed in one of 12 cubbies that will display the customer’s name using a LED light.

In the front of the restaurant is a small counter for dining-in customers, however the concept is designed for easy in-and-out carry-out.

As for the food, the new Gold Coast Wow Bao location features its signature menu, along with a couple new rice bowl options, as well as Do-Rite Donuts and coffee during the morning hours.

The list of highly-touted, award-winning restaurants in Chicago is long, and the list of celebrated steakhouses in the Windy City is even longer. But earlier this month, one local steakhouse was specifically mentioned as one of the top places in the country to eat, and which one might come as somewhat of a surprise.

In its most recent list of America’s 31 best steakhouses, popular foodie website Thrillist listed Maple & Ash, a relatively new establishment over in the Gold Coast, among the country’s elite, describing it as “next-level” and “fun,” while also proclaiming it to have an “innovate take on the traditional steakhouse.”

Locally, Maple and Ash has received all kinds of accolades from Chicago Tribune food critics, and of course Eater

The cold weather season is upon us in Chicago, which means most local restaurants and bars have closed down their patios and outdoor dining areas for the season. Recently, Eater Chicago featured a great list of year-round patios in Chicago, but here are just a few of our favorites:

Cafe Ba-Ba-Reeba - Lincoln Park

Cafe Ba-Ba-Reeba is one of our favorite lunch or dinner spots to frequent anytime of year, but it’s top of the list during the winter thanks to its awesome year-round patio. And if you’re planning to hit a show at
